Robert says:

I recognize Gauthicus's double-edged pole thing from True Magic, and in Soviet Russia, Hammer and Sickle is from YOU!

Skittles says:

Ummm... you can't even tell that Jack put his broken sword on the counter until the very last page. It was slightly confusing...

Robert says:

Yeah, There is an unfortunate placement of speech bubbles in panel two.

Zachary Lewis says:

Fixing now.

See317 says:

How did he even carry the shattered remains of his old sword into the store with him? I mean, it's not like it would fit in his pockets, and I don't see a bag or anything like that on him.

This comic doesn't make sense. We must tell the world!

Zachary Lewis says:

He has pockets inside his shirt and inside his armor. Think of a woman storing cash in her brassiere, and you'll get the general idea.

Waf says:

Hammerspace.

Waf says:

Also as foreshadowed there is a collectable shop in the next comic. If you have any clever ideas for interesting items to be displayed within lemme know.

Gaya says:

The title says: Like an rpg. You carry around LOTS of stuff in an rpg, without a backpack or huge pockets or something. A shattered sword is just a little thingy.

Waf says:

True but you can only hold 99 shattered swords.

Zachary Lewis says:

I'd actually say you can only hold 1 Shattered Sword, since it's a Key Item.

Robert says:

Unless there's some complicated system where all weapons wear down.

See317 says:

Thing is, money rarely has razor sharp pointy edges on all sides, so it's not potentially lethal to stuff into any availble body crevice. The shards of a shattered sword on the other hand tend to be unpleasently sharp.

Are they magical pockets? Pockets of holding perhaps? I demand logic in my fantasy comics!

Waf says:

I done told ya hammerspace.

JediNite says:

So yeah, I finally got one of my friends to start reading.
Another convert to the fold!
And Jedi approves of hammerspace. Hell, Jedi wants some hammerspace.

Robert says:

This will not be left without a "Stop! Hammer time and space!" joke.

So there.

Waf says:

Also, quite interestingly. Jill is the first person other than Jack (old model) to look away from the camera.

SABERinBLUE says:

THE KNIFE IS ALSO A CAMEO WEAPON. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I AM GOD.

Waf says:

True, the knife is a future cameo.

Gaya says:

Jill's earring is a cameo. Same as Link's =)

Waf says:

Hehehe it's kinda sad. Jill has this really cute earing pattern but you usually can't see it in the comic cause they are so small. I'll stick a hi def one up in the forum later maybe. iirc the first helix ring is the color of the top of her jacket. The second helix ring is the color of her jacket's body. The first lobe ring is the color of her jacket's wrists and the second lobe ring is the color of her skirt.

Illogikal says:

I thought he wasn't supposed to hold his sword like that (first panel; reference to comic #2) XD

Happy Valentine's Day!

As a Valentine's Day treat, I dropped three new Rubber Cement comics today! I blew my buffer, but I already numbered them and it would be too much of a hassle to delay them.

Happy V Day!

Can you pick out the cameo weapons?

I can. But I made the comic.

New Week, New Comic!

Tah-dah!
